Content-Aware Tool

In Photoshop CS6 there is now a new feature called the "content-aware move". This tool allows you to move a certain person, or object in a picture into a different place that you desire. Even if you just need to move it a little bit you can now do that! Even if it's just for a little adjustment in your picture, this seems like a very helpful tool. I feel like this would help a lot in trying to move something around, showing your friends something cool or just wanting to change a whole picture up. I personally think this is a very new and cool tool and suggest you all check this out!

Mask Type Tool

I had chose to do the word "fierce" for this assignment. When I thought of this word I had though of fire right away, and how powerful this word is. I had made the font of it very bold and exaggerated, to really portray fierce. The font is very big and powerful to get the point across.

To make this image I had used Photoshop CS6. I had taken a picture of fire and put it on one layer then put a layer over top of it. On that layer I just used the paint bucket tool and the eraser tool. With the paint bucket tool I just painted everything black and changed the opacity of it so I could still see what was underneath of it. For the eraser tool all you had to do was erase the writing that you wanted to be shown. I had used the text tool to choose the different font, and different sizes. After that I had erased the words. This is a process called "scratch art". I had done this a few times to try it out and really get my point across.

In this photo I had wanted to achieve the look of something very fierce and straight to the point. I had chose fire because it's hard to put out a fire and this happens when you are fierce. You feel like nothing can stop you because you are so determined for something. I would say the fire really helped to get my point across along with the bold font. It really exaggerates everything.

Overall I think this picture has turned out pretty good, and there is not much to change other than maybe the image in the back. Making it more visible, but other than that I am satisfied with my work!
Enjoy! :)
